The Czechoslovak Club in Adelaide was established 18th November 1949. In 2019 it celebrated the 70th anniversary since its foundation.
The club’s goal is to connect all Czechs, Slovaks and Australians from South Australia in a strong community that keeps and promotes national ideas based on united friendship and mutually honest social relations.
We also promote culture, food, heritage and language. The Czech school runs once a week, teaching the language to a new generation of children and adults.
We are open every Friday evening for dinner, from 6pm onwards. Come and try our traditional Czech food and authentic Czech beers.
We have recently built a new playground in the garden and upgraded the floor and tables in the dining area.
The club (51 Coglin Street) is also available for hire, click Hire a Hall to find out more.
